Occasionally when the natural beds of our limestone quarry are pure enough, dimensional block is won. These blocks are sawn into natural stone slabs and they are then polished. Because it takes a high polish it is also known locally as Sheldon Marble. Polishing the sawn slab really brings the stone to life enhancing the fossil formulations and subtle colour shades.
